Sales Manager in China

Work place is Suzhou, Jiangsu, PR China. Start of work by agreement.

Job description:
• Establish and maintain new business contacts, mainly in the Automotive, Medical, and Consumer Goods industries.
• Report this information to General Manager and Engineering Management on a frequent basis.
• In cooperation with GM and Engineering, develop strategies to approach both prospects and existing customers which require good, open communication skills, as well as good judgment of the technical and financial issues of automation projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Research the Chinese market for Automotive, Medical, Consumer Goods, and other industries offuture trends
• Provide the results in frequent reports to GM and Engineering
• Take the initiative to approach contacts and coordinate the involvement of internal Engineering
• Support the development of strategies for the Chinese market

Leadership/Teamwork
• Gracious nature to communicate with prospects and customers in a professional, respectful manner
• Represents ixmation as a global, high-tech automation company, with ethical standards through one’s own personal integrity
• Works well in a multicultural environment and promotes knowledge sharing within all ixmation units

Planning and Organization
• Good computer and time management skills
• Timely and well organized in administrative and reporting matters
• Participates in continuous improvement of processes with impact on quality, schedule and business development matters

Knowledge and Education
• B.A. degree in Sales, with a technical background in assembly technology
• Very good linguistic proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Experience/Technical Knowledge
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales on management level.

Business Development Manager in China

Job description:
• Establish and maintain new business contacts, mainly in the Automotive, Medical, and Consumer Goods industries, researching new technologies and product trends.
• Report this information to General Manager, Sales, and Engineering Management, as well as to the Group management on a frequent basis.
• In cooperation with GM, Sales and Engineering, develop strategies to approach both prospects and existing customers. Requires good, open communication skills, creative marketing and business development ideas, as well as good judgment of the technical and financial issues of automation projects.

• Some previous experience in machining and machine building is required
